Meet our teachers

Ten qualified educators for a school of fifty learners — which is why every subject is taught by a specialist, and why every teacher knows every child by name.

Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future, guiding young minds with knowledge, values and purpose. Working in partnership with parents, they help learners grow academically, socially and personally.

We are proud to introduce the dedicated educators of False Bay High School — a team committed to learning, growth, and bringing out the best in every learner.

Teaching at FBH

A teacher who has four learners has time for all four

Across our learners’ testimonials, the same observation appears again and again: there is time. Time to explain something a second way. Time to notice a learner has stopped following. Time to enlarge a worksheet for a learner who needs it.

That is not a teaching method. It is arithmetic — ten qualified teachers, fifty learners, and classes of two to six. The school’s own rules put it plainly: qualified teachers are appointed; teachers and learners treat each other with mutual respect; and teachers are available for extra lessons as time allows, including after normal school hours.
