Paying the account

How payment works

These are the terms set out in the school-fee agreement that both parents or guardians sign as part of the application.

Due by the 3rd

School fees are payable in advance and must be paid by the 3rd day of the relevant month. Any early-payment discount applies only if the entire account is up to date.

Before the first day

The registration fee and the first month’s school fees must be fully paid before a learner may attend classes.

Twelve months, or ten

For convenience, annual fees are divided into 12 instalments. Matric fees are paid over 10 months.

Both parents sign

Both parents or guardians sign the fee agreement, and each signatory accepts responsibility for the full fees — unless a valid court order or other binding arrangement is supplied and recorded in writing by the school.

One month’s notice

One calendar month’s written notice is required if a learner intends to leave the school.

Accounts in arrears

Interest may be charged on accounts more than 30 days in arrears. Where an account stays unpaid after written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it, the school may begin a process regarding the learner’s continued enrolment, subject to applicable law.

The registration fee is charged once. It is payable with the learner’s first application and is not charged again for the annual re-application. It is non-refundable, unless the school rejects the application or cannot accommodate the learner.
